Clint Landis

Captain Landis is a 26-year veteran of the Wheeling Fire Department, spending the last 5 years in the investigations division. He is a certified Fire Investigation Technician and Evidence Collection Technician through the International Association of Arson Investigators, a member of the National Association of Fire Investigators.

K-9 Indy is a 5-year-old Belgian Malinois trained in Ignitable Liquids Detection.

Indy was commissioned by the City of Baltimore MD and received her initial training from Stateline Canine Inc. of Hanover PA. In 2022, Indy was acquired by the Wheeling Fire Department and paired with Landis. The two are nationally recognized through the Canine Accelerant Detection Association as a Certified Accelerant Detection Canine Team.
