Course Title: Trauma Overview
Course Description: The Trauma Overview class provides a comprehensive exploration of trauma management principles and practices essential for healthcare professionals, first responders, and individuals involved in emergency medical services. This course aims to equip participants with the fundamental knowledge and skills necessary to assess, stabilize, and manage traumatic injuries effectively.
Through a combination of theoretical instruction, practical demonstrations, and hands-on training, participants will gain insights into various aspects of trauma care, including the mechanisms of injury, primary and secondary assessments, hemorrhage control, airway management, spinal immobilization, and patient extrication techniques.
