About the event
This class is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the behavior of fires, including the factors that influence their spread, intensity, and behavior. Students will learn about the different types of fires, fire dynamics, and the science behind how fires start, grow, and are extinguished.
Through a combination of lectures, hands-on exercises, and case studies, students will explore topics such as fire behavior prediction, fire behavior indicators, fire weather, and the impact of topography on fire behavior. They will also learn about the latest technologies and tools used to analyze and predict fire behavior.
By the end of the class, students will have a solid foundation in fire behavior principles and be able to assess fire behavior in a variety of situations. This knowledge is essential for firefighters, fire investigators, emergency responders, and anyone involved in fire prevention and safety.
